Ruth Kadiri Ezerika is a well-known Nigerian actress, film producer, and screenwriter. She happens to be one of the most sought-after movie scriptwriters in Nigeria.

Born on 24 March 1988 in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. She graduated from the University of Lagos where she studied mass communication. Also, she studied Business Administration at Yaba College Of Technology, Lagos. The first child of two children, her father’s name is Desmond Kadiri.

She didn’t get much fatherly care cause she lived with her younger sister Precious Ehis Kadiri and her mother in Lagos state, while her father stayed abroad.

She grew up like an average Nigerian child living in the ghetto, Ajegunle in Lagos state but her background didn’t determine her future. Growing up, she had written down what she wanted by the time she was eighteen.

Ruth Kadiri wrote in a book that she needed to get her apartment and make her money by the time she was eighteen. She wrote stories and short scripts before she decided to attend a movie audition.

Ruth Kadiri first auditioned at the Wale Adenuga Studios – a popular movie brand in Nigeria.

During the auditions at Wale Adenuga Studion, Ruth Kadiri met Victor Eze, who runs a script-writing school.

Ruth gathered more skills in movie writing and subsequently wrote her first movie script titled “Wild and Dirty” which she couldn’t produce and sold out due to lack of funds, After that more scripts followed until she started coming in front of the camera.

Ruth Kadiri kept her love life private until December 2017, when she announced that she was engaged on social media and got married to Mr. Ezerika in November 2018.

Mr Ezerika is the lawfully wedded husband of Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri and the father of her daughter. He is reportedly a businessman from Anambra State.

They had a secret traditional and white wedding on the same day. For some unknown reasons, Ruth decided to keep the identity of her husband secret from the media.

Ruth Kadiri is the proud mother of a two-year-old girl named Reign Nwachinemelu Ezerika who was born on August 26th, 2019 in a Swedish hospital.
