Dean’s Awards at Algoma University in Canada 2024-
Scholarships are available to assist with the costs of studying at Algoma University. The majority of scholarships are based on academic merit and your most recent academic history.
Entrance Scholarships
Qualifying Criteria:
- International students considered for the following awards must have a temporary resident visa, as a member of the student class under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act of Canada, on the first day of classes.
- All students who are required to pay the international differential fee including university transfers, second-degree students, college diploma graduates, and college transfer students are eligible for the Entrance Scholarship.
- Students must complete all their qualifying requirements in the academic year prior to commencing studies at Algoma University.
- Under no circumstances will international scholarships be deferred. Students must accept the terms and conditions of admission and the scholarship awarded for the year the offer was made.
- As awards require enrolment over two semesters within an academic year (Fall/Winter), students entering in the Winter or Spring term will be considered for awards in the next academic year
- Entrance scholarships are for undergraduate degree programs only
- Students must have an unconditional admissions offer by July 7, 2023, to be considered for entrance scholarships for the 2023-24 academic year.

American citizens are not eligible for these scholarships, as they are already eligible for a significant tuition discount.

GCE (Cambridge/Pearson) AS and A-Level Scholarships
General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (“A” Levels)
Top two “A” level or “AS” level subjects are required for award purposes.
English Language proficiency test not required if the student has achieved a C grade or higher in O-Level English
International Baccalaureate Scholarship
International Baccalaureate students must provide official transcripts and proof of their IB Diploma, to qualify for an unconditional entrance scholarship.
