The University of Glasgow has several undergraduate excellence scholarships available to new international and EU students for 2023 entry. The scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee discount of £7,000 per year of study and is subject to satisfactory progress for consecutive years of study.
The University of Glasgow continues to be committed to ensuring a strong relationship with our existing and future EU students and supporting EU talent to make their home at the University of Glasgow.
All EU students are eligible for these scholarships, and you must hold EU fee status to receive the scholarship.
University of Glasgow Scholarship Advantages
- £8,000 tuition payment discount for Faculty of Arts programmes
- £10,000 tuition payment discount for Faculty of Science and Engineering programmes
- £10,000 tuition payment discount Faculty of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences programmes
- £10,000 tuition payment discount for Faculty of Social Sciences programmes
- £12,000 tuition payment discount for chosen Adam Smith Business School programmes

Scholarship Eligibility
The University of Glasgow has several International Leadership Scholarships available to international students starting a postgraduate taught Masters programme in any discipline for Academic Session 2024–25. The scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee discount.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- show academic excellence and obtain grades equivalent to UK 1st Class Honours
- hold a proposal for an eligible postgraduate taught programme for the September 2023 intake
- demonstrate academic excellence and achieve grades equivalent to UK 1st Class Honours
- hold an offer of a place for a postgraduate taught programme for September 2024
- have an International fee status
Candidates holding offers will probably be automatically assessed for the scholarship based mostly on academic merit.
Candidates being considered for the scholarship will probably be notified within two weeks of receiving an offer.
The tuition fee discount is applied at registration. No extra application is required.
